Student chaplaincy

Who it is for

The student chaplaincy is open to all students, whatever their course of higher education: universities, grandes écoles, IUT, BTS, healthcare training schools, in both public and private education.

Its missions

  • To be a presence of the Church and a place of reflection in higher education, attentive to studies and career choices
  • To be a place of human and Christian formation, helping students to grow in their understanding of the faith in dialogue with contemporary society.
  • To bring students together to form a lively, dynamic community, welcoming all students whatever their field of study and their personal and spiritual journey.
  • To be a place of prayer and of preparation for the sacraments.

A meeting place

Saint-Étienne church.

What we offer

  • A students' evening on Thursdays: at 7 pm, the student Mass (at Saint-Julien church, just next door), then a dinner (prepared by the students) and a themed evening, the "Soirée Théo". Current affairs, prayer and relaxation alternate each Thursday.
  • "Taizé Prayer": ask the chaplaincy directly for dates and venues.
  • A friendly place where you can come for lunch, have a coffee, chat with the students and/or the chaplain, etc. during opening hours.
